Jay-Z Sued Over Roc-A-Fella Hand Gesture

Pro wrestler Diamond Dallas Page has filed a lawsuit in Federal Court in Los Angeles alleging copyright infringement for Hov’s use of the diamond hand gesture that has come to be the symbol of Roc-a-fella Records. Page claims that he has been using the "Diamond Cutter" signal for the last decade inside the ring and out as a trademark of his wrestling persona as well as on the cover of his recent book "Yoga for Regular Guys".

Ok, so my question is, can you even copyright a goddamn hand gesture? If so, then I’m about to register the peace sign and the middle finger, and clean up on royalties. Seriously though, this lawsuit is obviously a result of Jay’s new status as rap’s wealthiest artist. I mean if that’s not the case, then why isn’t Page suing Nas, who has clearly been throwing up the diamond since ‘94.
