His car fell on the rocks and rescuers initially tried to help Ryan, but in vain. He was trapped in the vehicle and serious head injuries ultimately catastrophic.

Police officials confirmed that Dr. Frank Ryan Jeep left side of the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu at 4:33 pm yesterday. Ryan suffered severe head injuries when his jeep hit a rocky embankment, trapping him.
Ventura County Fire Department Ryan air dealt with, 50 years, but the elevator was unarmed when he was pronounced dead at the scene.
